About: “Yellow Wood” is a new collaborative single from Matchbox Youth and Banks, that evokes sentimental, melodic high and low tides, led by moody guitar and crunchy percussion. Their inclusion of acoustic analog sounds and digital programming emanate similar comparison to sonics from artists like The Album Leaf and a far more Ambient-leaning Explosions in the Sky. This nuanced and introspective track would be a great choice for a mellow morning start.
