From CDMX-based Venezuelan percussionist Orestes Gomez, his lead single Lunes Azul or "Blue Monday" featuring jazz flutist Eric Chacón arrives for this elegant display of cosmic jazz melody. Inspired by meshing the LoFi Hip-Hop aesthetic with jazz and Latin Lofi, the bright musician mystifies his listeners with percussive rhythms and digital synth-like noise ruminating about analog instrumentation. The single "Lunes Azul '' translates to "Blue Monday", the first day of the week, second single from the EP "Hora Azul". Recorded at a distance between Mexico City and Miami.

Lunes Azul is the lead single of Orestes' first EP with Acrylic Label. Hora Azul is out on March 25, 2022.
